     There are several reasons why water is removed following production of crude oil. The Two most obvious are to avoid overloading and to reduce degradation of pipeline and storage. In the oilfield operation there has been complex and wide variety of oil and water emulsion. The type of emulsion is determined by the kind of emulsifiers,  temperature, the volume ratio of both liquid phases, the property of container walls and  so forth. Boiler Water Treatment

      Boiler feed water treatment is classified as external or internal treatment. External Treatment means that the water composition is altered before it enters the boiler. Typical external treatment process include softening, demineralization, deaeration, Iron and manganese removal, filtration, or some combination. Internal treatment Refers to chemicals added to the water, which react inside the boiler to prevent scale, Corrosion, or foaming.

Desalter Aid Chemicals
